SHAPEDOWN classes are for families with overweight children. Class instructors include board certified pediatrician Dr. Elaine Harrington and dietitian Sheryll Clarke. SHAPEDOWN is the nation's leading weight management program for children and teens.

Areas of emphasis include:

• Nutrition
• Exercise
• Stress Management
• Family Communication
• Self-esteem
• Healthy Weight Loss

SHAPEDOWN's 2 hour classes are held one night a week for 10 weeks. Classes are available for ages 8 to teenagers. Parental involvement is essential.

Cost includes classes and parent/child materials.

A comprehensive SHAPEDOWN pre-assessment will be scheduled the week before class begins. A pre-assessment physical will be submitted to your insurance company for payment. Please note this service may not be covered by all insurances.
